Professional Career: 
2003-2005 Research Associate (Stanford University; Prof. J. P. Collman); 2005 Professor (Wuhan University). Since independent work from 2005 at Wuhan University, he has published 15 papers in J. Am. Chem. Soc., 23 in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and 50 in other journals. His group has written the first comprehensive review article of the topic of “oxidative coupling between two nucleophiles” in Chem. Rev., Chem. Soc. Rev., and Synlett. Overall, they have published over 93 publications. 

Awards and Honors: 
2007 Wuxi Pharmtech Biological & Organic Creative Award; 2008 Chinese Chemistry Society – John Wiley Young Chemist Award; 2008 Royal Society Chemistry Journal Grant; 2008 Chinese Chemistry Society – John Wiley Young Chemist Award; 2009 CAPA (Chinese-American Chemistry & Chemical Biology Professors Association) Distinguished Faculty Award; 2010 National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, China; 2011 Lectureship Awardee of Asian International Symposium for Outstanding Young Scientists; 2011 Eli Lilly Asian Scientific Excellence Award; 2012 First Class Prize of Hubei Province Natural Science Award; 2013 Hubei Youth May-4th Medal; 2013 Asian Rising Stars (15th ACC Meeting).
